An engineer by qualification, Azmir started his career with Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) Malaysia, before joining the Metrix start-up team.

His introduction to the research world began in the area of telecommunications. Since then, he has been exposed to various industries including FMCG, tobacco, entertainment and others. In Metrix he experienced the financial and automotive industries in marketing research as well as being involved in industrial research in the areas of logistics and retail sectors. His involvement in socio-political research has further widened his scope and research experience.

Prior to joining Metrix, Azmir served as s Senior Research Executive at TNS Malaysia. He was then the project manager for a study involving 18 countries worldwide. Azmir has led numerous multi-country projects involving various research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative.

Azmir brings youthful exuberance to the team and represents the voice of the younger generation. He hopes that Metrix will be a platform to greater things.
